We offer a variety of options for decorators looking to decorate with less expensive books.

Starting at a dollar a book, the Brattle gets in thousands of lightly used hardcovers a day, making our outdoor sale lot the perfect place to start planning your library or book display.

Inside our shop we have a large selection of books from specialty presses, such as Library of America, Heritage Press, Folio Society and Franklin Library. Subjects include art, history, poetry, literature, and photography, and start at $10 a book.

Fine Presses

Folio Society Press, from $15 per volume

The Folio Society publishes classic works in all subjects in crisp, colorful hardcover editions with corresponding slipcases.

Folio Society volumes come in both hardcover and leatherette, and we can put together collections based on subject or color.

Since these editions were published for collectors, they are most often as pristine as when they were first taken out of their shrinkwrap.

Editions with Slipcases

Heritage Press and Library of America, $15 per volume

The Heritage Press reprinted classic works previously published by the Limited Editions Club. We also sell volumes of the Limited Editions Club, but prices vary. Heritage Press books differ in height but have bright decorative gilt spines, and come in colorful slipcases.

Library of America books all come in crisp white slipcases and have a handsome, uniform look.

Franklin & Easton Press Editions

These publishers produce high-quality leatherbound reprints of classic titles in all subjects. With endpapers of moire silk, gilt page edges and elaborate gilt stamped covers, these collections make a handsome impression.

Many modern works of science fiction and literature are available in these editions and both the titles and the bindings are instantly recognizable.

Franklin Library classics start at $30 per volume, and we discounts to decorators depending on the amount they wish to purchase.

Folio Art Books & Hardcovers
